We offer same-day service at no additional cost for general washing, dry cleaning and hand ironing jobs.
Simply put, dry cleaning returns your clothes to a “like new” condition and removes stains that water washing cannot.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a person may get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or eyes. Although the possibility of the virus transferring through clothing is comparatively low, some studies have found that SARS-CoV-2 can stay on clothes for up to 2 days.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “virus is stable in faeces(and urine) at room temperature for at least 1-2 days.” Their data also concludes that “heat at 56°C kills the SARS coronavirus at around 10000 units per 15 min (quick reduction).” Dry cleaning’s drying cycle always uses heat higher than 56°C/132°F, making it safe to say that through dry cleaning, your clothes will test negative for COVID-19.
